Parkinson’s disease affects about 5,000 individuals in Brevard County. The Brevard Parkinson’s Alliance was founded to help bring information and support to those affected along with their caregivers. The Alliance helps local support groups, sponsors scholarships for Rock Steady Boxing, and provides a yearly Parkinson’s symposium for the community and with patient outreach, aware in care project, respite scholarships for caregivers. We are not supported by the Parkinson’s Foundation and all money that is raised goes directly to our local residents.
